The ROMA, a compact, 14” (350mm) x 76 mm acoustic archtop guitar, has been designed with a contemporary vibe in mind, while oozing bundles of cool, jazz appeal.
The ROMA is produced with a premium, seasoned, hand carved 35 mm AAA select American spruce sound-board, and solid hand carved, flamed maple back & sides. The ROMA is beautifully con- structed, and fitted with a flamed maple neck, solid maple binding, and stunning peripheral appointments, which include Indian ebony fingerboard, finger-rest, floating bridge, and tailpiece. The ROMA’s wonderful dynamics can be enjoyed ‘unplugged’ or enhanced, by using a LR Baggs pickup system, or a floating Kent Armstrong humbucker. Both pickup options compliment this unique guitar's acoustics perfectly.
As with many of the models in the Fibonacci range, the ROMA is designed for the aspiring player who may be more familiar with playing a smaller, solid bodied guitar, and now finds him or herself venturing into the world of jazz archtops or, for the traditional jazz player who may find handling a larger archtop a cumbersome task. The ROMA could be the perfect choice for the player looking for a comfortable, versatile archtop with plenty of acoustic dynamics. The ROMA comes standard in natural blonde or antiqued honey with nitro cellulose lacquer. Custom finishes available by special order.
