Hope you all had a great Christmas, and we wish you a happy, and healthy New Year! Not quite sure where 2023 went as it seems like we were only saying goodbye to 2022.2023 has been an incredibly busy year for us in the workshop. Our Newsletters weren’t as regular as we would like them to be as we were busy making sawdust most of the time. But along with continuing to build great archtop guitars, our 2024 New Years resolution is to keep you posted on a more regular basis on what is happening at Fibonacci Guitars. It is our plan to ensure we get our Newsletters out on a monthly basis, so keep an eye out for them as they are packed with information on everything on what is happening in the Fibonacci camp along with special offers.
TOMCAT
As some of you may be aware, we try to kick off the new year by offering a special deal on some of our guitars. Well, we have something very special to kick off 2024. Meet the Tomcat. We only produced five Tomcat’s a few years ago but never actually finished them and didn’t formally released it because of issues with a rather large guitar manufacturer. We have now decided to finish them and offer them for sale to a few lucky people. Once these five Tomcat’s are sold, we will not be producing anymore. So when they are gone they really are gone for ever. Indeed, this little beauty may well become a bit of a collectors item in the future.The Tomcat is a traditionally styled archtop with a lower bout width of 14.5" and a depth of 1.74". It is produced from 3ply laminated maple top and back, maple sides, one piece mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, and is fitted with a mahogany centre block. The Tomcat is loaded with a pair of superb OX4 pickups, and is fitted with high quality genuine parts such as Tonepro stop tailpiece and ABRII Tun-o-matic bridge, Gotoh SD90 tuners with tulip style buttons, genuine CTS pots, Switchcraft 3-way switch and output jack, Spraug capacitors, all wired together with high spec steel braided cable. Finished in tobacco sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer, the Tomcat is a superb looking guitar with plenty of versatility.
