Enjoy The Fruits Of Our Labour
There is a reason why carved archtop builders are few and far between. Because archtop guitars aren’t easy things to make. Taking a piece of material at circa 40mm thick at its apex, and then carving it into a shape that becomes sonically beautiful, is not only highly skillful, it is also physically demanding. But once created, and put into the hands of the musical genius of Bireli Lagrene, all that hard work pays dividends.
So here you can enjoy the fruits of our labour with some short videos and wonderful playing by one of the greatest jazz players in the world. Select the video sample that you would like to watch.
The BL6 is fitted with a set-in OX4 on the neck & a Kent Armstrong Vintage '57 pickup on the bridge. CTS volume/tone pots are 500k audio sweep, Spraug 0.22 & 0.33 caps, Switchcraft 3-way switch and mono output jack are fitted as standard.
